Strategic Voting Campaign Identifies "Hot Ridings" in Ontario

(Toronto - Thursday, October 9, 2008)  - Voters in Ontario ridings where vote-splitting could elect a Conservative are being offered specific, transparent advice on how to vote strategically to ensure a pro-environment outcome.

Twenty-three Ontario races have been identified by  where a Conservative victory can be stopped if progressive voters unite behind a single candidate to avoid vote-splitting.  These are:

Ancaster-Dundas-Flamborough-Westdale, Barrie, Brant, Burlington, Cambridge, Chatham-Kent-Essex, Halton, Huron Bruce, London-West, Kitchener-Conestoga, Mississauga-South, Niagara Falls, Northumberland-Quinte West, Oakville, Ottawa West-Nepean, Ottawa-Orleans, Oshawa, Parry Sound-Muskoka, Peterborough, Sarnia-Lambton, Simcoe-North, St. Catharines, and Whitby-Oshawa.
